"It's a "Porch-uh"" (ikazuchi)

New rule: From now on, please base all time references on PST/PDT (depending on time of year). I can't have you people saying goodnight, telling me it's lunch time, or, God-forbid, the next day any old time you please. It's very confusing and throwing off my whole day.
Hugs and kisses,
- Me

But more of oppo is on the right coast. The headquarters are in the Eastern time zone. Aren't you left coasters used to this by now anyway? lol

Or we should use AMERICA TIME and use Eastern DST. Because regular EST sucks. It gets dark too early.

Woah everyone should just calm down for a second can't we just compromise on MST? :P

That's a load of rubbish if I ever saw some.. We all know that GMT is the only way to go, well.. GMT+1 really, but I'll settle for plain old standard GMT.
Euro ALL THE THINGS!! (well, not Euro the money... but everything else)

I hate timezones, but it's kind of hard to change the system on just one platform.
And how would you define morning, and night? I'd say that morning is when you wake up and night is when you go to sleep, hence not really related to the clock itself. It's just that people like to sleep when it's dark outside. Lunch is just the meal you have between breakfast and dinner, and lunchtime would be when you eat lunch. Even if I used oppo standard time, I'd still eat lunch when you're still asleep.

I propose that we all adopt a time standard which only moves in one direction from zero and originates with the dawn of the universe and does not take relative position in time or space from the origin point into account.
In addition, I believe that it should be metric and that all demarcation points occur in not a base 10 system, but in a base 60 (Sexagesimal) system, because I like the word Sexagesimal.
Furthermore, the most base time unit shall be based on the common degradation of the most prevalent element in the universe (hydrogen).

Would that be about 15 minutes past Mjøsbrua?
Also, when you rule the world, will you make Volvo make mustard coloured RWD cars again? If so I've only got one thing to say.. ALL HAIL HOCCY, HOCCY IS OUR MASTER.

Exactly! That way both coasts feel satisfaction where even if it didn't go there way, at least the other coast didn't get the advantage. Unite everyone by making the minority the scapegoat. That worked wonders in the past right?

Yeah.. damn us for dividing things by ten :P But at least we use the same system when it comes to minutes and hours and such..
Wow, THAT would be confusing for sure, if we had 100 minutes in an hour.. Then again, since quite a lot of us use a 24h clock I guess it' confusing anyhow.. Perhaps we should all just start using Zulu Time?

Yeah, why make it easy and use base-10? Math is supposed to be hard and measurement based off of random things that were relevant hundreds of years ago.

Right before the last switch from Daylight to Standard time, there was a good article on getting rid of it (it is dumb) and cutting back the number of time zones.
They suggested two for the US. Might be a bit rough for some areas, but whatever, change your work schedule you people in the middle.

So let's make a deal then... n = more or less, that means every letter after N is obsolete yeah? That leads us to the fact that the use of x,y and z in math is just bollocks. AND, since 42 is the answer, then n = 42, which means that = 42.. SO... any number bigger than 42 is imaginary? So we should only have 42 minutes pr hour yeah? And 42 days pr year..
Yup, I just fixed math.

I still prefer my measurement of volume to be based on the volume of 10 pounds of distilled water of density 0.998859 g/mL weighed in air of density 0.001217 g/mL against weights of density 8.136 g/mL.
See? It's so simple!

Volvo will start to make mustard coloured RWD cars again because everyone would want to have the same car as the master! No commands needed there.

Well not just the daylight saving stuff or merging some US timezones, but just have one general time for the whole world. Changing to GMT for everyone would mean that I had to correct my clock one hour, and you Americans probably 7-8. I'd still get up at sunrise and go to bed a bit after sunset, but the clock would show something else.
For the globalized world of internet and entertainment, you won't have to convert time for live broadcasted events it would be very handy. It would be easier for me and you to see when F1 is on, because I could just check a site like this and the numbers would actually work instead of some nonsense that would only work for a small percent of the population.

Sorry, but both Toronto and New York, respectively "Center of the Universe (Canada)" and "Center of the Universe (Everywhere else)", are in EST so apparently we'll be sticking with that.

The funny thing is, in the military all event planning is typically done using GMT (we call it Zulu). When I was a Missile Launch Officer we did 100% of our work using Zulu. It got to where I knew what was on TV in Zulu and Mountain Time (I lived in Wyoming at the time). It's very effective. We would label time as such: 23Dec1400Z2013. It's unambiguous with the big Z standing out.
That doesn't mean I want to live in Zulu as a civilian though. No thanks.

Oh that. Yeah. Well, I think this may the case of proving the infinite monkey theory. If Gamecat posts enough posts, eventually one should be clever. It's just statistics.
